The NHS Confederation, which represents over 95 per cent of NHS organisations, has a packed and exciting programme of fringe meetings at this year's political party conferences. Further details of our fringe meetings can be found below.
All journalists are very welcome to attend our events. There is no need to register your attendance with the Confederation but you may need formal accreditation from the political parties to access events within the secure zones.
To coincide with the programme of events, the NHS Confederation will be launching a briefing on the role of NHS in tackling health inequalities during the party conference season. The briefing will argue that health services alone cannot address the problem of widening health inequalities in the UK. However, there are specific aspects of health and healthcare that either exacerbate inequalities or could be better used to narrow the inequality gap.
A press release and copy of the report will be sent to journalists during Labour party conference.
