01 Nov 2005

Professor Steve Webb MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for Health
Tuesday 8th November 6pm - 7.30pm
1 Birdcage Walk, Westminster, London, SW1H 9JJ

The NHS Confederation is pleased to invite you to the second in a series of three Westminster lectures by key players from the main political parties setting out their case for the future of health and public services.

Steve Webb, the Liberal Democrat Shadow Secretary of State for Health, will look to the future direction of his party's health and public services policies. He will also explore what the downside of 'marketisation' of the NHS might be and whether there might be other ways to drive up standards in the NHS.

This event provides a unique opportunity to discover how Liberal Democrat health policy will develop.
There will be opportunity for questions and comments. The event will be followed by a drinks reception.
If you would like to attend please email matthew.akid@nhsconfed.org or call 020 7074 3306 or 07887 633344.
