Press release: NHS Confederation welcomes end to traffic lights
20 Sep 2001
Commenting on the article written in the Independent this morning*, suggesting that the Government is to abandon the traffic light system, policy director Nigel Edwards said, "this would be a move away from an unhelpful system towards a much more positive way of approaching performance management."
Continuing, Mr Edwards said, "this is the first year of the new performance management system and we would expect it to develop and improve over the next few years."
