Tackling inequality through information and learning
In this session you will have the opportunity to discuss techniques such as information prescriptions, population segmentation and targeted social marketing. Speakers from the NHS, third sector and private sector will be on hand to provide their experiences at addressing health inequalities.
Day and time: Wednesday 16:00-17:30

What should be the next steps?
This session, in the form of a debate, will consider the options available to the Government as they seek to address health inequalities. Are the current reforms providing the most effective solutions? Our panel have a wealth of experience in these issues and will certainly generate a thought provoking discussion.

Narrowing the Gap
This session, produced in collaboration with the LGA, will offer life-affirming messages about the importance of children's health. The Department for Children, Schools and Families' (DCSF) Narrowing the Gap enquiry is examining issues such as parental support, sustaining links between schools and children's centres and strengthening local leadership. Delegates will receive practical advice about effective local solutions and hear from a variety of Healthcare professionals.
