Dr Jennifer Dixon

Biography

Dr Dixon is the Director of the Nuffield Trust. Jennifer has written on healthcare reform in the UK and internationally. Her background is in clinical medicine and policy analysis and she has a PhD in health services research. Previously she was Director of Policy at the King's Fund, London. She was Harkness Fellow in New York in 1990 studying the obstacles to comprehensive health reform in the US, was the policy adviser to the Chief Executive of the NHS and is currently a board member the Healthcare Commission and the Audit Commission.
