Flowers against the sky

A new initiative is being rolled-out that aims to help achieve better care by giving people and communities a stronger local voice. Called Local Involvement Networks (LINks), the policy will have an effect on independent providers of state funded care services.

The following documents are available to our independent sector members.

LINks Directions Briefing Pack for Independent Providers.

What LINks Mean for Health and Social Care Commissioners and Managers

These are designed to explain more about LINks, inform you of Directions that have been issued to health and social care commissioners and set out the implications for non-statutory providers. LINks are only just starting to set up and the Directions only apply to new contracts. For further information, please contact martin.panther@nhsconfed.org
