The Confederation has regional involvement, which is currently based on the regional government boundaries. With the reconfiguration of the Strategic Health Authorities (SHAs) in July 2006, we will be consulting members in 2007 on whether we should change our boundaries to be coterminous with the new SHAs.
Members of the Confederation's council are elected from each of our current nine regions. The council members for the region agree a regional lead, who is then responsible for regional member communications, chairing our regional membership meetings and gathering members' views to feed into Council.
If you would like to contact your regional lead to discuss any issues, you can find their contact details below. Following the recent reconfiguration of the NHS there are currently several vacancies on Council that we aim to fill in the coming months.
