The Health and Care Women Leaders Network held an International Women's Day 2023 (IWD 2023) celebration on Friday 8 March to celebrate and highlight work underway to progress gender equality and enhance inclusivity for women working in healthcare.
With a focus on the theme for IWD2024 #InspireInclusion, the day started with an early morning celebration on X, from 8am, celebrating the individuals who have inspired you on your leadership journey. Find out more here.
The celebrations will continued with a virtual event held on Zoom from 10am to 12pm where delegates heard from NHS Chief Executive, Amanda Pritchard, our network chair, Samantha Allen and many more. Organisations and fellow networks also shared presentations on the great work they are doing to progress gender equality and enhance inclusivity for women working in health and care.
