London relations programme
The NHS Confederation established the London relations programme, funded by London members, in May 2000. Its main purpose is to ensure that the GLA and Mayor have a clear, independent point of contact with NHS organisations in London. The programme aims to create an environment in London that helps members work more effectively.

Wales
The Welsh NHS Confederation brings together the full range of organisations that make up the modern NHS in Wales. Our aim is to reflect the different perspectives as well as the common views of the organisations we represent.

Scotland
The NHS Confederation is committed to connecting and supporting all parts of the NHS. The Confederation offers any NHS organisation in Scotland a low-cost subscription service to our core information for members from across the rest of the UK.

Northern Ireland Confederation

Welsh NHS Confederation Annual Conference 2008
Health Minister, Edwina Hart, joined the programme of speakers for the Welsh NHS Confederation’s annual conference and exhibition. There is still time to book your place for The NHS at 60: Looking Back to the Future, at Cardiff City Hall on November 6-7th.
Rhodri Morgan, First Minister and Roger Lewis, Chief Executive of the Welsh Rugby Union, were also on the programme.

Work programme updates
NI Confederation Annual Conference
The NI Confederation Annual Conference 'Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland - Delivering the Future Today' took place on Wednesday 8 October in the Dunadry Hotel, Antrim. Northern Ireland Health and Social Care is continuing to evolve and the next few years and will present significant challenges to all those involved in delivering quality services to their patients and clients. The conference was an important staging post in this process of change giving delegates the opportunity to consider and challenge a number of key themes related to the future delivery of those services.
