The health sector is changing and so is the NHS Confederation. With system-wide change starting to take effect across health and care, the NHS Confederation is establishing seven regional networks dedicated to developing support for the emerging integrated care systems (ICSs) and sustainability and transformation partnerships (STPs).
We are now looking for seven regional engagement managers to establish and run each of the networks based across the following areas:
- Midlands & East
Each regional engagement manager will be based in the region in which they operate and will be responsible for developing and leading the network in that area.
You will establish meaningful relationships and purposeful partnerships with key stakeholders across health and social care, including regional counterparts at NHS England, NHS Improvement, the Local Government Association, Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, the National Association of Primary Care, Royal Colleges, and Healthwatch. The aim is to develop a clear understanding of issues within the region and to share work plans, intelligence and joint initiatives.
The successful candidates will be experienced influencers with a good understanding of health and care systems and their current challenges.
The NHS Confederation is the only membership body that brings together and speaks on behalf of organisations that plan, commission and provide NHS services.
Secondments for a minimum of 12 months will be considered for these roles. The closing date for applications is Friday 20 April 2018. Interviews will be held on the 4th May 2018 in London and the 9th May 2018 in Leeds.
