Providing a voice for NHS leaders
Our membership brings together the full range of organisations that make up today's NHS, enabling us to provide a distinct and powerful voice for NHS leaders.
Informing healthcare policy
We use our expertise and harness the knowledge and experience of our members to help inform the development of healthcare policy - ensuring that new and existing initiatives lead to real improvements in the system and genuine advancements in patient care.
Our policy unit concentrates on developments that impact upon the whole of the healthcare system and shape the overriding framework and context in which the NHS operates.
Our networks focus on policy developments that impact upon and shape their specific areas of care.
Shaping the public debate
We work to strengthen the public voice of NHS leaders, using our relationships with key media to bring the management perspective into the public debate. By responding fairly but robustly to issues raised in the press, we contribute to balanced discussion and increased public confidence in the NHS.
Supporting strong and innovative leadership
Networking, information sharing and learning
Through our programme of networking, information sharing and learning, we help our members to make sense of the complex policy agenda and support them to deliver strong and innovative leadership to the NHS.
Our events and publications provide news, views and updates on current issues in healthcare plus guidance for NHS leaders on how to respond to latest policy developments and initiatives.
