Efficiency through whole system redesign

Improve understanding of how efficiencies can be achieved across whole health economies.

Hospital staffWith the coming spending squeeze and rising health needs all parts of the NHS are looking at efficiencies within organisations. But as the NHS Confederation and the Chief Executive of the NHS have warned, inward-looking solutions will not be enough.

 

To support leaders looking to redesign health systems, the NHS Confederation, Foundation Trust (FT) Network and Primary Care Trust (PCT) Network ran  a programme of thought provoking workshops and study visits for members and stakeholders, to visit and learn from innovative organisations who are seeking to integrate their work and redevelop the care pathways.
