NHS Future Forum event

17/05/2011
The NHS Confederation hosted a joint half-day event with the Department of Health on 17 May to develop a firm proposal for government on the way forward for NHS reform.

As part of the NHS Confederation’s strategy on the Government’sDelegates plans to pause and listen to stakeholders on the changes proposed in the Health and Social Care Bill, we are committed to engaging with our members to develop our thinking in the key areas of the reform.

This half-day event on 17 May brought together members of the NHS Confederation and NHS Future Forum members to discuss practical suggestions for improving the NHS reforms.

Thank you to everyone who attended. Members' feedback will be used to inform a set of firm proposals for government on the way forward focusing on the key areas: competition; accountability, education and training; and implementation. Read our full submission to the NHS Future Forum.
