The NHS Commissioning Board Special Health Authority is in the process of engaging with key stakeholders, such as clinical commissioning groups, and patient and professional organisations to shape emerging proposals for the Commissioning Outcomes Framework.
The framework's aims
The aim of the framework is to drive local improvements in the quality of NHS services for patients by providing benchmarks that would serve as markers to help improve the quality of commissioned services and reduce health inequalities.
