pound coinsThe concept of a quality reward or bonus for commissioners, particularly if linked to their management of financial resources, has raised considerable concern among professional groups due to the risk it could create perceived, or real, conflicts of interest which would be damaging to healthcare professionals and the wider NHS.

We want your views

The PCT Network's commissioning team has been working with members and stakeholders to identify and address the key issues the Government should consider in the design and implementation of any commissioning incentive. We want to hear members' thoughts as we develop this area of work. Please email Ash Vithaldas, policy manager (commissioning) with your thoughts and comments at ash.vithaldas@nhsconfed.org
