The NHS Confederation is currently working with the National Mental Health Development Unit (NMHDU) on a number of projects to support mental health policy development and implementation.
One of these initiatives is a mental health commissioning development programme which is jointly managed by NMHDU and the Confederation’s PCT Network.
The PCT Network is currently looking for individuals to support the work of this programme on a secondment or fixed-term contract basis.
While the roles do require a good understanding of commissioning policy and practice, I am sure there are many people currently working in provider organisations with the relevant skills and experience to contribute to this work.
This would be an excellent development opportunity for anyone seeking to develop their knowledge and understanding of commissioning, and to gain experience working on national mental health policy.
