This one-day workshop held with the Health Foundation and other stakeholders follows on from the HSRN Summit in March 2011 where discussion centred on how to increase evidence-based policy and practice, particularly in the event of rapid and considerable change in the NHS. The workshop will be held on 1 December in London
In response to the challenges faced by the health service there is a need for the health services research (HSR) community to meet and develop responses as to how we can safeguard HSR to continue to make a contribution in the new NHS. This meeting will explore these ideas further with the aim of making some concrete suggestions on the way forward for the HSR community.
