The FTN has commissioned research into the role and operation of staff governors and a pilot study on the demography of foundation members. The studies will form part of a programme of work on the governors and the foundation trust accountability landscape. The demography study report will be available in early 2010. The staff governor report is currently available.
The output from these and other projects will be a publication providing examples of good practice in developing robust accountability relationships with governors and a web based resource for the use of foundation trusts and individual governors.
