Enhancing the reputation of foundation trusts and embedding the FT brand 

 
The FTN is working to raise the public profile of foundation trusts, locally and nationally, and to build and enhance the foundation trust brand.

We are seeking to embed support for the foundation trust model across all political parties, and to position the FTN for influence with current and future governments.

During 2010/2011, the FTN will be working with its members to:

  • Create opportunities and exploit existing platforms to communicate our messages.
  • Work with FTs locally to support them in developing their relationships with MPs.
  • Seek to influence the policy agenda through building good relationships with No 10, ministersm special advisors and senior civil servants.
  • Encourage and supprt effective relationships with the local media and constituency MPs.
  • Offer individual assistance where a foundation trust is facing communications challenges.
