Foundation Trust Network 

Currently there are 129 authorised NHS foundation trusts in England.

The Foundation Trust Network (FTN) provides a distinct voice for NHS foundation trusts. We are hosted by the NHS Confederation but our work programme is steered by an independent board elected from and by our members. Our four strategic objectives are:

1. Influencing the external environment in which foundation trusts operate
   
2. Enhancing the reputation of foundation trusts and embedding the FT brand
   
3. Supporting performance improvement in foundation trusts
   
4. Building a high quality organisation.
