Tips and techniques for online membership engagement - cScape
Effective ways of engaging members in a difficult economy and maximising return on investment with small budgets

Branding your member - Fiona Alexander
UHB have done a great deal of work on reducing a large, unwieldy membership down to a group of more engaged members before changing their branding so that members are clearer on what their role is. Fiona explained their system of categorising membership and the donor-card style of branding they have used in order to make the most of their members.

Using your database effectively - Capita
Whether you use an outsourced or internal database to manage your membership, use it to its full potential and it can be a great aid to engaging your members. Capita shared the lessons learned and gave hints and tips on using your database.

Understanding your audience - Clare Collins
The session explored what works in terms of FT membership approaches. It drew on the findings of recently published FTN research, which examined how representative FT members were of their local communities, what encouraged people to join foundation trusts and what members themselves want from FTs.
(Since this research was funded by the FTN this presentation is only available to FTN members)

Shared learning, membership engagement - The Cooperative
In this session Mark Robinson-Field, National Co-operative and Membership Manager of The Co-operative Group shared his experiences and learning of engaging with members.
