The joint partnership working survey
The joint Ambulance Service Network (ASN) and the Mental Health Network (MHN) work programme explores how ambulance and mental health services can work together to provide the best care for patients with mental health problems.
In August 2009, a survey was sent out to ASN and MHN members to gather their views on partnership working between the two sectors. The survey was followed by semi-structured interviews with selected ASN and MHN survey respondents in September 2009, which focused on three key areas:
(i) Challenges of establishing partnerships
(ii) Joint training
(iii) Information sharing
Information from respondents contributed to a joint ASN and MHN briefing which looks at the challenges and opportunities for partnership working.
A summary of the orginal survey is available for members to download.
