Partnership working, both domestically and across Europe, is an important way of sharing information and reinforcing our views on legislative and policy developments at a European level. The NHS European Office works with a range of organisations, both from the healthcare sector and with wider interests, to achieve common goals and objectives.
Our partners include:
NHS Employers European and International Team:
Working on behalf of employers in the hospital sector, the NHS Employers European and International team represent the UK voice in HOSPEEM, the European Hospital and Healthcare Employers' Association, and CEEP, the European Centre of Enterprises with Public Participation.
HOPE - The European Hospital and Healthcare Federation:
Representing national public and private hospital associations and hospital owners, HOPE aims to seek improvement in the health of citizens and a uniformly high standard of hospital care from across the EU.
EHMA - The European Health Management Association:
A network of health organisations throughout Europe, EHMA's objective is to improve health through better management. It is a forum through which policy-makers and senior managers can network and share information, and where academic institutions and research organisations can share experience and develop joint projects.
LGA - The Local Government Association European and International Unit: The LGA European and International Unit works with central and local government, the European institutions and international bodies on behalf of UK local authorities.
