The Executive Agency for Health and Consumers has published calls for projects under the 2010 Health Programme. Thematic areas for funding include improving health security, promoting good health and healthy lifestyles and making better use of health information.

The European Commission has published a call for projects in the field of ICT under the Research Framework Programme. Topic areas include the Virtual Physiological Human, Brain-inspired ICT, and cognitive systems, interaction and robotics.
