Through our core work programmes, we help the NHS to collectively develop its thinking and speak with a strong, cross-industry voice – upwards to government, across the system to each other and to partners, and outwards to the public.
We also meet the specific needs of different parts of our membership through the following networks and forums.
Community Health Services Forum
The Forum helps community service providers to work and speak together at a time when a clear, informed and assertive voice is needed for this crucial sector.
The Hospitals Forum has been set up to provide tailored services and a national voice for hospital providers focussing on the unique pressures that they currently face.
Urgent and Emergency Care Forum
This forum will build on the work started by the Ambulance Service Network (ASN) and continue to inform and influence members, stakeholders, the media and parliament about the issues associated with responding to, and managing the rise of, unscheduled care.
Mental Health Network
The Mental Health Network was established to provide a distinct voice for mental health and learning disability service providers.
NHS Partners Network
NHSPN represents independent providers of NHS health care.
NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC)
We have established NHS Clinical Commissioners with our partners the NHS Alliance and the National Association of Primary Care, to ensure CCGs have a strong, independent, collective voice connected to the rest of the NHS. By joining NHSCC, Clinical Commissioning Groups can access all of the NHS Confederation’s core member services.
Health Services Research Network
The HSRN is a membership network for organisations with an interest in health services research. The HSRN is now based at Universities UK.
