The NHS Confederation meets the specific needs of different parts of its membership through its range of networks and forums.
Mental Health Network: the Mental Health Network was established to provide a distinct voice for mental health and learning disability service providers.
NHS Partners Network (NHSPN): NHSPN represents independent providers of NHS health care.
NAPC: primary care provider network: the National Association of Primary Care (NAPC) has joined the NHS Confederation as its exclusive primary care provider network.
Community Health Services Forum
The Community Health Services Forum is the only forum that brings together and represents organisations that provide health services in the community. Building on our historical membership of community health trusts, the forum also represents acute trusts, mental health trusts, social enterprises and independent sector providers that deliver community health services.
The Hospitals Forum has been set up to provide tailored services and a national voice for hospital providers focussing on the unique pressures that they currently face.
Urgent and Emergency Care Forum
This forum will build on the work started by the Ambulance Service Network (ASN) and continue to inform and influence members, stakeholders, the media and parliament about the issues associated with responding to, and managing the rise of, unscheduled care.
Support for clinical commissioning groups
During the transition to the new system, we worked in partnership with the NHS Alliance and the National Association of Primary Care to develop NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC). NHSCC is now established as the independent membership organisation exclusively for CCGs. NHSCC members can access NHS Confedeation member services.
