Membership

The NHS Confederation is unique. We are the only membership body that brings together, and provides a strong voice for, the whole healthcare system.

Our members are at the heart of everything we do and share our vision for an NHS that provides the best possible care for patients and value for the public, now and in the future.

We provide a range of products and services to meet our members' needs.

Influencing health policy

  • We represent members' views on national policy developments to Government, policymakers and key stakeholders.
  • We make sure that we are present at important events and meetings, where we are in a unique posiiton to represent the whole healthcare system.
  • We respond to high-profile public consultations, canvassing members' opinions on what we are saying.
  • We raise the profile of our members in the national media.

Making sense of the whole health system

  • We provide tailored online resources relevant to members' needs and interests.
  • We keep members up to date on the latest national and regional NHS news with our daily press summary service.
  • We run free events to enable our members to debate key issues.
  • We offer members discounted rates to our annual conference and exhibition, the only event where senior healthcare leaders from across the country come together to discuss and debate the big strategic issues affecting the whole NHS.

 Supporting our members

  • Through our member forums, meetings and reference groups, we provide vital networking opportunities which allow members to meet with other board-level peers and share and implement good practice.
  • Our regional member meetings give members the opportunity to build their professional networks and discuss the key priorities, opportunities and challenges facing their local NHS.
