Become a member
All NHS organisations and independent healthcare providers that deliver services within the NHS can become members of the NHS Confederation. We have a range of networks that members can also join and which work to meet the specific needs of the different types of NHS organisations.
In addition, we offer membership and subscription services for commercial and third sector organisations that are involved in the delivery of healthcare as well as academic and representative bodies that have an interest in health and the healthcare sector.
All our teams work closley togther to ensure that everbody can benefit from the broad range of skills, experience and expertise that our members bring to the NHS Confederation from their different sectors.
Which type of membership is best for you?
NHS organisations
All NHS organisations can join the NHS Confederation and take advantage of our full range of core member benefits.
Members include: acute trusts, ambulance trusts, mental health trusts, foundation trusts, primary care trusts and strategic health authorities.
Members can also join networks that provide additional products and services tailored to meet the needs of the different sections of the NHS:
Ambulance Service Network
Foundation Trust Network
- for NHS foundation trusts
Mental Health Network
- for NHS mental health trusts, NHS mental health foundation trusts and independent providers of mental health services
Primary Care Trust Network
- for NHS primary care trusts
Independent healthcare providers
Independent healthcare providers that deliver services to patients on behalf of the NHS can join our NHS Partners Network.
Independent providers of mental health services can also join our Mental Health Network.
Members of the networks benefit from the full range of core NHS Confederation member services.
Commercial and third sector organisations
Commercial and third sector organisations can join our Associate Membership which brings together over 100 non-NHS organisations involved in the delivery of healthcare.
Academic and representative bodies
We run an Insight information service specifically designed for academic and representative bodies that have an interest health and healthcare.
